Rs 300 per voter: Rs 1.5-cr seized from Dhinakaran’s party men at Andipatti

The Income Tax Department Wednesday said it has caught Rs 1.48 crore money supposedly reserved to influence voters in Tamil Nadu’s Theni region, where a gathering bypoll is planned Thursday.
Unaccounted money worth Rs 1.48 crore was seized. It was flawlessly stuffed in 94 parcels and wraps on which the ward number, number of voters and the measure of Rs 300 for every voter was composed, I-T Director General (examinations) B Murali Kumar stated, after the medium-term attacks finished up at 5:30 AM.
