Karnataka bypolls: While JD(S) has handled up-and-comers in 12 seats, BJP and Congress are challenging all the 15 seats
Karnataka bypolls: Voting started on Thursday for the pivotal Karnataka byelections to 15 gathering electorates. The result of the political decision will decide the destiny of Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa drove BJP government.
Surveying, which started at 7 am and will proceed till 6 pm, is being held to fill the opening brought about by the preclusion of 17 radical Congress and JDS MLAs. Thirteen of the excluded MLAs have been handled by the BJP, which needs to succeed at least six of the seats to stay in greater part in the 225-part gathering.
Seats where bypolls are being held:
While BJP and Congress are challenging all the 15 seats, JD(S) has handled applicants in 12. The seats incorporate Athani, Kagwad, Gokak, Yellapur, Hirekerur, Ranibennur, Vijayanagar, Chikballapur, KR Puram, Yeshwanthpur, Mahalakshmi Layout, Shivajinagar, Hoskote, KR Pet and Hunsur.

“Casting a ballot will be held in 4,185 surveying stations, including 884 basic over the 15 Assembly portions, with 5 (bodies electorate) in the Bengaluru locale, 6 in the northwest area, two in the old Mysuru district and one each in northern and southern areas,” survey official G Jadiyappa told IANS…..
