Previous maritime officers, including then leader of INS Viraat, on Thursday expelled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim that previous PM Rajiv Gandhi had utilized the now-decommissioned plane carrying warship as his “own taxi”.
Resigned Admiral L Ramdas issued an announcement dismissing the PM’s case that Rajiv Gandhi utilized INS Viraat as his “own taxi” on a 10-day family get-away to Lakshadweep or that Sonia Gandhi’s relatives were ready the vessel.
