The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Wednesday said that GSLV-F10 will dispatch geo imaging satellite, GISAT-1, from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on March 5. The dispatch is booked to happen at 5.43 pm. “Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10) will dispatch geo imaging satellite (GISAT-1) from the subsequent platform of the SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota. The dispatch is probably planned at 1743 Hrs IST on March 05, 2020, subject to climate conditions,” ISRO said.
Weighing around 2,275 kg, GISAT-1 is a best in class deft Earth perception satellite that will be put in a ‘geosynchronous exchange circle’ by GSLV-F10. In this manner, the satellite will arrive at the last geostationary circle utilizing its installed drive framework.
