SC seeks to know why Unnao rape victim’s letter to CJI didn’t reach him

The Supreme Court on Wednesday looked for a report from its secretary general about why a letter composed by the Unnao assault unfortunate casualty to Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, capturing risk to her life, was not set before him.
“Sadly, the letter is yet to see the light of the day but then the papers flashed it as though I have perused the letter,” Justice Gogoi said. The perceptions came when senior legal counselor V Giri, who is helping the court as an amicus curiae in tyke assault cases, looked for earnest posting of the Unnao rape case. The court likewise asked the Uttar Pradesh specialists to document a status report by Thursday on the mishap of the Unnao assault case injured individual.
